KSEB started online electricity bill payment from today, 23rd April 2013. Consumers can pay their electricity bills through the KSEB website www.kseb.in. Kerala State Electricity Board introduced this service to make the bill payment process easy and also reduce the cost. Payment can be made either by net banking or credit/debit card of 36 banks including SBT, SBI,Federal bank, Canara bank etc.
The bill payment can be made online till 2 days before the disconnection date. The office will pass the details of those who made the payment to the respective electrical section office in the next day.
KSEB Online Electricity Bill Payment Step by Step Instructions:
1. Go to Website www.kesb.in
2. Click on the link ” Pay Bills Online” in the home page.
3. Select the Electrical Section
4. Enter the consumer number
5. Enter the bill number
6. Enter the email id or Mobile number
7. Continue to the payment section, either net banking or credit/debit card.
8. You will receive a confirmation message in your mail id/mobile number in which you provided earlier.
9. if necessary take a print out of the confirmation page.
